There is a list of sports enthusiasts waiting to utilize the pontoon boat.  Please take a moment to consider that it is not as easy for some to drop a hook & sinker in the deep end of the lake or sit in silence, hunting under the cover of camouflage, as it is for others.

It has been a long journey, won’t you honor us by supporting this worthy cause?  Your support is critical to the organization.  MADS does not charge participants for pontoon boat use, but it does require funding to make this organization successful.  100% of all donations directly benefit the Maine Association for Disabled Sportsmen: to maintain the pontoon boats, cover insurance costs, and purchase fuel.  No funds are distributed to individuals.  All labor and time are donated by the Board members.  If you would like to review our bylaws or have any questions please contact, Howard Whitten, president, at 547-4194.

The Maine Association for Disabled Sportsmen would not be possible without the support of our volunteers and sponsors. We would like to thank everyone who has played a role in bringing this organization to Maine.

The pontoon boat shown here was donated by Clark Marine and volunteers have refurbished the boat to meet specified requirements necessary to meet the needs of individuals in wheelchairs.

Please remember, we do not charge for the services offered by MADS, but we do accept tax deductible donations in the form of sponsorships.  We sincerely hope that you will help us help others!
